Academic Issues

Trials are already a part of the life of being a student. It comes into many forms. It's either caused by personal problems at home or catastrophies brought by external entities such as teacher factor and student power.

Teacher factor in a sense that not every teacher you will be dealing with will like you and will turn things the way you expected them to be. There are some times that no matter how intense your desire to learn, you will end up with an empty, drained brain. For what the point here is, some teachers tend to believe that since they are the teachers, they know more than what the students know, and they are not welcome to any criticisms. Criticisms which they dont know, will the ones to improve them and to continue mold them to become a better and a well refined teacher.

In order for the students to have a deeper motivation to learn more, teachers must be approachable enough and should not be acting as if there is a very great gap between students and teachers. For how can be teachers become the second parents of the students, if they will be creating big and hard to break gaps between the two of them? Yes, there would always be a difference between teachers and students, but this should not be taken primarily most especially when we are in the process of learning. Teachers should be approachable enough in order for them to influence their students to become a responsible and an educated ones.

On the other hand, your co-students would also become one of the entities that hinders you to come out from your shell and grow up. Some students seem to pull you down when you are in the process of improving. They themselves create stories which can ruin your reputation as a student. They make simple issues complicated. And be aware for some of them are pretenders. They act as if they are your friends when you are in front of them. But behind you are their words of discouragements and negative criticisms which are caused by the word, envy..

Admiring someone's intellegence, talents, and skills should be the inspiration to strive more in the field of education, and be not the reasons to ruin someone's dignity. For what's happening is, those who possess the above qualities seem to be the subject of negative criticisms. Which shouldn't be, because in our part as students, we should accept the fact that we have differences. These differences should not be the reasons for us to be divided into groups, but a good reason for us to be binded together and work hand in hand together. For no one can help ourselves, but our unity in working together. Let us take competitions away from our minds. Because competition prevents us from growing, but cooperation keeps us improving.
